Exactly, I know a lot of really good skiers that can't do a 360, you really have to define "skier" to get a response to a question like that. I think a good skier is somebody who can rip up the mountain, consistently land 20-30 foot cliffs, and also throw some big really really really ridiculously good-looking tricks in the park. And if you want to be REALLY well-rounded, you can expand into the realm of flatland and chairlift tricks, those are always fun.
if you are good at all the skiing fundamentals, can ski switch pretty good, can do an average railslide, will hit a decent jump, can do a 360 or a 540, ski pow, id say your not bad
Yeah I know plenty of nasty skiers who can't hit park jumps and vice versa. I think being a "decent skier" is someone who goes out and give it their all everytime, wants to get better, exc. I don't think it's a certain trick that can put you in a different category, but I find the really passionate skiers are the ones who rip the hardest.
umm well, some kids are doin sw unnaty bio 9s, quad sw ups, sw 1080s i dunno what else. 630s on and off raillllz. People at Mt. Hood have mad skillz; skilss i wished i possesed
yeah, the kids at hood make me feel like a crappy skier...but then i realize its just the kids in the park, and i can do everything else better than most of them, which makes me feel a little better.
