Replying to Back protectors

does anyone rock one, or know someone who does? ive seen guys like the crists i think in movies wearing the same Dainese ones i used to see kids racing with... but basically i've tagged two rocks this season on my back/hip and i'm wanting a little padding and protection because they fuckin hurt... i dont know what kind of impact they can withstand or how much they actually help vs just being uncomfortable and getting in the way. though now that i think of it im sure its no one on here's bag so... oh well.
