it's not that hard at all to do a switch 1, unless you "try too hard". Like a lot of times people start the rotation too early and get hung up on the lip. Just keep your head over your shoulder, pop, then bring your legs around. Your head and shoulders are pretty much in the right position anyways. Doing switch ones just gives you better practice at spinning anyways. Because you really get a feel for what it's like to spin without doing a huge wind up with your arms. Just stomp it out. You'll get it in the first 5 trys. Good luck.
