Hi,
The clear plastic sheath that goes over the end of the heel piece post on my Rossi Axial 110 bindings came off at some point on the mountain to be lost to the snow gods forever... along with the associated numbered window insert with the DIN setting on it.
If anyone can spare that part off a pair of beat up bindings or something I'd really appreciate it.

It used to be that good equipment was just good equipment...My dad skied his Atomic ARC's for like 20 years.
I recently bought brand new skis and bindings and have had similar results to you.
After less than 10 days, there is a slight dent in one of my edges at the contact point on one of the tails. However, though the edge is dented upwards, separated from the base for about 2.5 cm's, there is absulutely no mark of any sort on the base, which leads me to believe that the edge had separated before the slight dent occurred.
After less than 10 days, significant amounts of paint have chipped of my Rossignol Scratch 200 bindings, showing black plastic underneath. My conclusion is that I cannot understand why a company would paint bindings...they should be molded coloured plastic.
On the tail of one of my skis, although it may be due to impact (although I dont know how, because it is on the immediate tip of the tail, unless it was caused by skiing switch, which I dont do a whole lot of) the topsheet has separated from the ski for just over a centimeter.
Bottom line, I am severely unimpressed with the quality of the skis a paid $400 for. I'm hoping to be able to warranty them. They've seen less than ten days and you'd really hope that $400 skis would last at least a season.
sorry for the rant. Companies should stand by their product.

Shut up, skiers are hard on their equipment these days.
For the part, go to some ski shops - they'll have old parts.

Skis are a lot more complex now adays. Anyone can make a straight ski with 1cm thick edges, and bases. Making them, light, poppy, and agile is a lot harder to do. Picture what a 1980 buick could would do, in relation to a 2006 lexus.

I snapped my P14 Toe piece and the warrantee just ended. I went into the local shop and they gave me a brand new p12 toe piece, identical toe other then the fact the din only goes to 12, also my toes now are black and blue...
