I've only been in the park 4 like a month and i can go about 20 feet, cus thats the biggest table at my park. I can grab anywhere but i can't spin yet. What should i do going to the jump, in the air, landing etc. I can do 180s on a smaller jump, are 360s much harder?
It took me awhile to try 3's as well, eventually I just said fuck it and committed to doing one. I went up the lip, not too fast, spread my legs about shoulder width apart, coiled to the right as i was going up the lip and threw it to the left...As long as you keep your head turned and lean slightly forwards you should be fine.
ok if you just starting off skiing, I'd really recommend learning and starting with your hips. When you spin with your hips you will have much more control over your jump, and later on down the road, you will be able to style out your jumps much better. If you spin with your arms your body is going to have the tendency to be ahead of your skis, and also you will probably have some major arm flairing. If you spin with your hips, your core will all stay together, and your arms are more likely to stay at your side, and later on go for grabs.
