i overshot a 1 by about 10 feet once and my skis didnt pop off and i kinda just slid onto my face and chilled on the ground for a good few minutes cause i lost feeling in my feet... yeah prolly not a good thing
Overshooting is worse since you are falling for much longer. Your falling the entire height from the highest point you were in the air to below the landing. Casing you fall maybe a 3rd of that.
I wouldn't call Tanner's crashing casing though, as I typically associate that with tables.
It totally depends...but I would say overshooting on an average park table. You are going really fast and fall for that much longer so the impact is much larger.
Idk I broke my leg casing, and broke my L5 vertebae overshooting. Overall though overshooting is the worst feeling ever. When you see that landing go flying by, you almost want to cry mommy.
it varies for sure, i would rather overshoot a backcountry jump, bacause the landing would still be rather soft, depending on haw bad you overshoot. like if the knoll is upsloped ona 60 foot table, and the runout is slightly downsloed, i would probably rather overshoot.
i dunno if you case hard on a big jump switch it sends you flying on to your back and thats like a double whammy so in some intances it suck more to case, i think that id rather overshoot, ive never felt severe pain overshooting whereass caseing hurts pretty bad somtimes
