Best edition of Premier?

Whats the best, not newest, edition or premier pro? I have dual monitors and use premier 1.5 and its pretty good. I also need a graphics card for my desktop for dual monitors and an output to a tv to preview. Anyone know how to preview on a tv from premier? Thanks

depending on what kind of video card you have, the way to output to a monitor will change. i just have a basic video card so what i do is go firewire out from my computer to my camera then out my camera through RCA phono into my monitor. some video cards have outputs which make it so you can skip the camera(or converter) step and have just the proper output for a monitor

i would buy a new one. right now i am editing off a laptop which is inconvenient and slow. i would get a new video card for my desktop.
