Holy Hell the 06-07 troublemakers are sick

Wow, I had the extreme pleasure of mounting a pair of these today. Started to drill the ski and to my extreme happiness and surprise I found a metal mounting plate. Finally somebody realized that us jibbers tend to rip out our bindings super often and did something about it. And dynastar finally did something to try to keep their edges from ripping out. If it works, these will be one of the best park skis ever built.

I don't really think a metal plat weakens a ski. but I really don't know

I agree. I can't imagine how adding metal would make a ski weaker.

and im sure dynastar knows that people have problems with a ski so why would they put a metal thing in it to make it even weaker...that jsut wouldnt make sense

just a guess...
but metal (unless its straight led) doesn't flex like wood so you might either end up with no flex under foot or weird flex points near the plate

tms aren't wood I think. and it would probably work like the mounting shit line has

i think that is the first thing dyna has done to improve a model...the trouble makers have been just new graphics every year. they have never done anything to go and improve there skis like other companys such as armada or line

You people really think that its just metal under boot now?? come on.. be real. its a plate on top of the rest of the ski. that way they screws bite into something that wont strip out like a wood core or foam. this makes it a tighter fit for the screws and will hold a lot longer.
For all you hatin on the TM's.. why is it that year after year.. magazines rave that this ski still rocks?? apparently they are doing something right..
as for the edges.. i have the tm's and havent had a problem.(yet) i look forward to continuing my business with dyNasty and hope they continue to make bomb proof products.

if they fixed the edge problem it would def. be the best ski around. But what did they do to fix the edge problem?

the top sheet looks alot different to, atleast on the trouble makers, it sort of looks shiny

in addition to the metal layer in the thick part of the springblade did you notice the inserts in the base under the boot for better durability in the park?
as far as bindings ripping out of TMs ithink if you rae scratches or K2s that may be an issue(especially if you ride pivots)
and TMs are wood

why would rossi make a binding that would rip out of there ski?? since they to made pivots...

rossi + dynastar.... same company... so if you hate TM's.. you hate scratch's
rossi scratch binding = look p12

^^i know! i was commenting on the other guy saying that bindings will rip out if u use pivots on k2's and rossis

i hope to fuck you are joking.
he was just saying that the pivots rip out easier because the small disrtibution of the screws in the heel. more pressure on a smaller area

they were just being tuned for the designer, so the ones we saw wont be for sale. who knows if theyll have them in the up coming season
as for the TMs, they are sick. many non park skis have a metal layer, or even some like the gun labs do, so integrety isnt the issue, its cost. and bindings rip out way too often, so its a good thing!
the skis ride sick too, and have like an edge protector dealy, but have yet to see if it works. dope graphics and yea
