I just picked up a pair of this years TM's. 182 cm. I'm 6'2" 190 ish and will ski these about 50-50 park all mtn. I have a pow ski so these are only groomers and hard pack when they're out of the park.
I havn't even seen them yet so I don't know where the factory mounting position is, i'm just looking for a little advice.

I have 175 tms core centered, and 182 laroses core centered. Both were mounted back 3 and ive found that i like them FAR more at center. If you don't ride switch that much i guess mount them back a bit but i have noticed very little performance decrease by having them mounted center.
Makes it easier to spin, carve switch, land switch, and especialy nose butter if your into that.

And since you have a pow ski you don't have to worry about the tip dive that mounting at center would cause. The only real difference your gonna notice on groomers is that they turn quicker because they are mounted ahead of the sidecut.

Thanks for the help. I probably ski more switch than I do regular on groomers.
Will they still be able to charge steep stuff if they're mounted core center?

Well you just gotta decide wether your gonna be sometimes cahrging steep stuff switch....if youre not it might be a good idea to go 2 back or so from center, but if you are id still say core center is where its at on that ski.
