Replying to Progression - why must we make skiing move in the wrong direction

i dont understand how you can sit there and bitch about the direction skiing is going. Skiing was going to blow up whether or not it was in the free riding direction or in the direction of something else. If you look at how snowboarding used to be to how it is now its that same way as skiing, there are going to be different styles, or clans, or groups. But skiing is skiing, it doesnt who u are or what you look like, it doesnt matter if you in it for the fame and money or for the love, skiing is progressing in the direction that we push it as a community, bitching about how its going isnt going to make it any better. I think skiing is 1000000000 times better than it was about 5 years ago, people are pushing limits and going crazy. This sport of skiing is jus progressing really fast, and i dont think its being pushed in the right, or wrong direction, its jus progressing into more of just a free ride sport, kind of like snowboarding did. I just think its wrong to say that its being pushed into the wrong direction, when free ride skiing is more popular now that it has EVER been.
