has anyone done this? you watch wizard of oz on mute, and when the mgm lion roars like the second or third time you start the cd. its suposed to synchronize with it perfectly. i wanna try it really bad.
dude if you do it right its fucking nuts. there are two variations, one uses other cds when DSOTM finishes. the solo for i forget shich song, time maybe, during the scene with dorothy and the guy talking by his wagon is perfectly in synch. each phrase of the solo is who is talking. how the hell they did that is beyond me. also the cover for one album is 3 red slippers
that's crazy. i was just talking about this yesterday. what types of media work? i have the record, or would it just be better to play the songs off an iTunes playlist? and i hear its hte 3rd lions roar, you start it, i wanna try it eventually. that's nuts that shit like this works.
yea the lyrics of some songs go perfectly with what the characters are doing. and the bells on Time match up with the witch's bike bells. and the munchkins dance perfectly to money (i think)
i've been planning on doing it, but haven't gotten around to it yet. i know you start it on the 3rd MGM lion roar, but is it at the beginning of the roar or the end?
my video/media teacher did that with our class last year because no one felt like doing work. It was pretty cool. Definately something you'll want to try. My roomate downloaded it on limewire where they took the sound from the movie out and put in the floyd album, so you dont have to worry about synching it yourself.
All the parts match, there is a version circulating on the internet that you can download that matches up perfectly. Thats why there are so many randomn noises on the CD in between tracks
They all deny that it had anything to do with the movie, although Roger Waters loved doing sountracks, Floyd did 2, and At the house of blues in chicago they are actually gonna play the movie with darkside in like paramount digital quality and then i think they are gonna play the wall afterwards, gonna be awesome
