I wanted to get your guys opinions if you think its worth it to go for two days to either one of these places the last weekend of Jan. I know mountain creek has a better park but with all this rain/ warm temperatures, i was wondering what they had set up at all. And i saw pictures of Winhams rails and they look sorta shitty how about their jumps. Oh by the way i normally ski at roundtop PA

ive never been to windham, but mountain creek is probably the most crowded for its area, and we have a lot of ass holes here at mountain creek, the trails take 5 minutes to get down

mountain creek's park is slowly going downhill im sorry but it. Every rail is turnign to urban style, the mountain is just too dam croweded, the park pass doesnt work, they have one respetable jump right now and you hav to bomb to clear it and its clear only like a 35footer. Blue and Bear Creek have clearly put more time into their parks instead of just making crazy ass rails and claiming they are amazing. However, once Mountain Creek's pipe is up, it will blow blue and bear's pipe out of the water just because it is the Grand Prix halfpipe. Goto Windham.

thats the most rediculous post ever.
Bear Creek? Ummm. Bear Creek is MUD RIGHT NOW. Creek still has snow and their parks arent even close to being completed.
In case you havent noticed, urban style take-offs are whats "in" these days, you are probably just not good at them. None of creeks rails this year are "crazy"..are you serious? They are all really tame this year and alot more fun because you can get way more technical.

i find urban rails in the park stupid if theres more than one. First of all they're not the easiest and also its hard to to spin ons and spin offs onto urbans. Flat bar rails are more fun cause you can combo it up more

i agree, i never been to MC but i hear that most of there rails are urban setup, not saying thats bad, but a park with more of a selection would be more fun.

I've seen all 3 of them within a 2 week span. MC 1/15 Vernon peak with no variety ALL urban - in a comp with 35 entrants, there was only one skier, what does that tell you?
Bear- is managing with the weather. Blue 1/21 is the best right now and if you are ready for this...... Little Shawnee, 1/22 well beneath the radar, its a secret. As of yesterday, excellent conditions and great variety a very close runner up to BLue! I don't know what this rain might have done to it.

Blue was sick today... they got mostly snow and had little rain so noting really happened to the park. it was probably the best i have seen the park all year.

you said no selection at creek? are you fucking serious? they have like 15 rails up(i went yesterday) and they're all different and they're not even close to being done. they're all different and how are they urban? they have skinny rails boxes..so much selection. you can do so many different types of combo's and everything. if you want park go to creek. they have some nice terrain too if you go down from north to granite. that trail is fun (espically going through the woods) mtn creek is all around fun just don't go on weekends thats all. i say CREEK all the way. but i fuckin hate jersey.

MC has so many urban rail setups
for them you need to jump up 2ft without a jump to get on the rail
i could do these rails but i just cant jump up that high and most skiers ther who are good cant do them
they have a good park but the inruns for the jumps aren't long enoug and ther rails are hard as hell to get onto

for all you complaining about the urban rails, frow some balls. the set up at creek is sick. there are 4 rails, the rest would be boxes and tree jibs, every single rail is ridable and every single rail is easy to get onto. creeks features take more skill which makes it more fun. even freeskier voted it the 15th best park in the nation. that says something
All times are Eastern (-5)
