I live in the east. I'm out west maybe 2 weeks a season at most. Usually ski ontario/quebec. I already have 174 PE's. I am 5'8.

174 publicks if you want all mountain and if you something a lil beefier go with vicious

okay so i'll probably get the vicious then. Like I said, I already have the PE's in 174cm.
Now my next question is....

Do I get this years with the black base? Or Do I wait and get next years? The dimensions are the same, the only difference is the topsheet, and the base. I hear that this years are faster with the black base. Anyone else hear this?

Anyone hear about the speed of the bases between the two though? All as I know is that black bases are "supposed" to be faster. And Seth said in the K2 forum that the bases didn't turn out the way he wanted or expected them to or something. But he never said why. Anyone know?

definately the vicious if your on the east coast...i demoed them in the poconos and they actually didnt due bad
