You should have either spoken to the tech or drawn your own line on the ski. I work in a hop and the softgoods staff who take in skis for mounts and tuning generally don't know shit about anything. If a shop fucks up your skis completely (drills right through or something), they have to replace them for you. A bad mount is generally something that they'll just put right for you (remount). There is a guy in my shop that fucks up about half of his mounts actually - a lot of customers get skis with plugged holes without even realising. If it's a big shop, bitch at them and try to get a new pair, but they'll probably just pass the blame to whoever took the work order so maybe not. My shop is pretty small and I know for sure that my boss wouldn't do shit if a customer complained about something like this.
