skie weight...or jsut new found style

yea my friend used to ski these insanely light peices of shat and now he got some 1080s, im not saying they are heavy but compareed to his old staight skis they wiegh a ton, anyways when he skid his old skis my great grandma could ski with better style then he did, now hes got these ncie skis and hes got some style, like automaticly his spins are all slower his grabs are nicer and his jibbs are smoother, just wondering if its a big conincidence with his new found style or if the weight and composition of his new skis could slow things down and just make it alot nicer

but i would say that it's the shape of the ski (sidecut and platform) over the weight.

well the sidecut would obviously help his skiing but im talking his style of hits and such.. and it didnt improve his confidence hes a crazy chink he couldnt be more eragent or confident,

the shape of the skis would also alter the way that they cut through the air.... skinny skis feel way different, i know from experience...
i am staying with all of what i said including confidence

ya I've never had that problem with skiing but BMX bikes have to be made a certain weight or else when you get alot of air it fells like your being catipulted through the air, but when you have more weight to stablize you you have more control... could have somthing to do with it

i don't think it would have much to do with weight cause my skogens are a lot lighter then my last years salomons and i think i have a lot better style with my skogens, but i don't think it's cause of the ski, maybe your bro is just tryin to work at it harder or something, he ain't holding back this time
