So... what does it mean when my computer says "Error loading Opperating system" and nothing else? and how does one fix it?
I really dont want to have to pay to get this repaired because frankly, I cant really afford it... although thats probaly what im going to have to do. Any help would be very much appreciated.
And no, im not on my computer, im on my roomates.

I think it means you better re-install the operating system and hope you didn't have anything irreplacable on it.

theres a pretty good chance you can get all your shit back. those errors are usually fixable

alright... when your comp boots up press f8 or f12 or DEL key(usually del key) to enter the system bios look around in there for "boot procedure"(something along the lines of that) make sure your computer boots from the floppy disk first, find the windows operating system install floppys, from there you should be able to reformat your drive it'll ask you to delete your partition and such do that and just continue installing the operating system.. if you have any trouble (i suspect you will in the system bios) just reply back here of shoot me a message

^only do that if you don't have anything of value on there... like some reports or certain documents.

do you have a diskette or a cd in your comp? it might try to boot from those... take em out if there are any.

If there are things you need on there.. i would recommend taking it in... i don't know much about data recovery... i just do networking stuff :-| sorry
