I've recently learned to 270 onto rails but I find myself pretty much stomping them on the rail and I'm worried my skis are about to get an ass kicking if I keep doing it. Do any of you do this when you 270 on and if you do or did, do you/did you do anything about it, like trying to not stomp down on the rail? I've tried to not land so hard but when I try that I have a tough time landing on the rail properly for the slide.
my skis use to fall of when i did 270s on and thats the only time they'd fall of but then i tightned down my din and now its fine, i say don't let your equipment get i ht eway of your progrestion, you will get better at them with mor pratice and be able to do them with more finesse
keep tucked up, and dont lock your knees when you land. if you stay low, not only is it easier to stay on the rail, but it will soak up the hit and make it much smoother. plus it looks better.
