haha, yeah, its fine man. lots of peeps dont ride stock liners. in SOME rare cases, you might run into some interference with the way the tounge fits into the sides of the liner, but def. not with head/salomons, as they are very similar.

dude, if it's comfortable, who cares what we think? you don't need to let the world of ns know you did something different. give yourself a pat on the back, turkey.

Honestly bro I'm a bootfitter and that is something I've played with for a while with some sweet results.
There is always space between the liner and the shell of every boot so what you can do to get a snugger fit is downsize the shell and put a little bigger liner in.
For instance last year I skied a Green 1080 shell in 26cm with the liner from a 27 Nordica Beast boot. The 1080 liner is lame and I had the beasts so I gave it a shot and it was awesome. Not to mention you could see the flames and "The Beast" insignia through the plastic and it was sick.
Some companies liners just don't fit their shells very well. Like Lange boots all fit better with Salomon liners for instance it's hilarious, though they finally fixed it for next years all new lineup. The things you do in the ski shop midweek... hehe.
