bend your knees and keep your position forward on your noses. A narrower stance is better for speed and carving for me.

just do like he said, but riding switch while having narrow stance can be little difficult. i lose balance in very narrow stance.

Staggering your feet is pretty essential. it all makes sense if you think about it. If you look over you left shoulder, put your left foot back more. it opens up your shoulders more and you can get more of a view. and it helps set a spin. stay low too.

don't put your wieght on your noses, keep your weight centered like you would normally, if you are on yor tips thats like skiing back set and that will over strain your legs, so just sit calm and cool in the center of your skis let your twin tips do the work, do all the other things like stagering your feet and you will do just fine

If your worried about speed it is because your not skiing switch properly....do you worry about speed while appraoching a jump normally?
If your hitting jumps switch and are not able to hold speed there is something VERY wrong with your fundemtals...Go back to the basics and learn how to ski backwards... a good "newschool" skier should be able to ski switch nearly as fast and as in control as he/she would normally...if your not you should spend ALOT more time skiing backwards on varied terrain and pitches...entire runs down long steep groomers...doing a reverse snowplow is a gay as it gets

Practice going switch on a regular slope and go faster and faster until you get it down. Eventually youll find a way that works best for you

Go ski backwards more outside the park. Every drill you've ever done while learning to ski forwards applies to going backwards.
An easy way to check if you are balanced properly is to just hop. If your skis stay parallel to the ground, your doing it right, and turning while skiing switch will be just as easy as it is going forwards.
I'm working on it now, I spend more time skiing backwards then I do forwards. Straightline hills switch, do oldschool hopturns switch, pop switch 180s off everything, drop into a pipe switch, try moguls switch, do flatground 360s straight down black diamond runs, weeeeeee
