im 6'2 165lb 16yrs old and am skiing the 04 1080's at 171 wat wud be a good new ski to swithch too?? possibly the arv or ar5 but r those stiff enough? well neother ski ideas let me kno?!?!?
I'm 6'2" 190 ish. I ski the 185. I thought they were going to be too soft at first but I really dig the flex. They are perfect (IMO) for everything except carving ice or really hard snow. I've been out 14 days so far this year and skiied them every day so far.
They butter like crazy and have a bunch of pop but since they're so long and wide the flex really isn't a detrement.
All this is totally correct. The ARV flex and sidecut is PERFECT for everything except ice and really hard chunky snow because it kind of bounces the tips around.
as long as u keep the edges pretty sharp they're alright on ice (seems that way to me anyways). they're a dream everywhere else, i would highly recommend the arvs.
