has anyone read this book before?? if you have i need a little summary of what happens in the book, because i chose to ski rather than read, and now i have a paper due tomorrow on it

Dude you deffinitely should read it, but it is about this south african boy growing up in apparthide (sp?), and all of the trials that he has to get through to become a success. The success is that he starts playing tennis and he gets a scholarship in america to play, and so he does. Ummm. it would help to know what the paper is on exactly. Sick book though.

i read half of it and then i went up to the hills for a few days and forgot the book at home so i never finished it. the paper is basically a mix of things though dealing with him redefining himself and how it relates to our cuture today and what we can learn from it.
