How can I get HD footage to final cut pro hd, its not making life very easy we can't figure out how to import it,. so if anyone has a clue, let me know.

if I had to guess I'd go into final cut pro. Click Final Cut Pro in the upper left corner. Then Audio Video Settings then change the capture preset to HD.

maybe you plug in the firewire and import it like you do video. i wouldn't know, ive never used hd

deserve is a silly term to apply to a camera, if he bought it through the system of capitalsim then he surely "deserves" it.
