K2 Public Enemy 04-05 UR OPINION.

I know it was said lots about 04-05 publics.
But i still got some questions.
First- i've noticed that it s topsheet chips very easely, i also spoted that it's sidewalls are kinda weak and can be easely scratched to hell ,so the traxial braids are sticking out.But this Ski is still considered as a remarkably strong -WHY?
Maybe because it has got strong core center or something? Thats what i want exactly to know.
Another thing i want to know is + and - you might have found in this ski, like your opinion on it's advantages and disadvantages.

chipping doesnt mean its weak. there hard to snap, last a long time and are generally durable. Beefy edges for rails ect..

yeah its kind of a stiff flex... theyre a little heavy but that doesnt matter so much when theyre on your feet unless you are doing littler jumps. really strong all mountain. tough to butter. not so so much pop but they are good.

mine have a bunch of chips in them already after about 10 days, but they do kill it on the mountain. I managed to do some small butters on them, but it is really hard and they dont have much pop at all for rails and shit. so basically i agree with everything that was said so far

I love my Public Enemy's, they're great in power and on tables in the park. They definitely are pretty stiff, so if you're a park rat, i'd probably get the fujatives. I just like softer ski's for popping onto rails and stuff. They do chip easily, but to no effect.

they are possible to butter, but not to well from my experiences. pop is kind of like an ollie in skateboarding, sometimes you have to pop on to rails, and it can help you in the air too
