will i get shunned for gettin these for all mt. skiing kuz there kinda wide? i live in nj and know im not really gunna be skiing any powder, but they seem like theyd ride awsome with that crazy sidecut. is it even practical? iv never skied a deciently fat ski (just the avrage 80-ish waist) i was wondering if that would work out...-thanks for any help
Don't waste your money. I live in NJ too and use to have fat skis and I never used them. Just buy a park ski, the invaders are sick and have cool graphics to impress the ladies.
these skis are designed as pollards park skis and i have heard of a lot of kids that havfe them in the east and love them. just ask around for a review on them but i am sure they are bomb
i wouldnt get them, just due to the fact your paying the extra dough, but your gonna end up puttign them on rails anyways. Get the invader so you save money, and you wotn be afraid of puttign them on rails, considering the elizabeth will deteriate just as fast on rails, and your be paying a extra 200 bucks for em (i think)
soo many threads on this. reverse sidecut=not good in powder anyways. thats exactly what you dont want. they are perfect for everything a snowboard is. they will be FINE. get them. the FUCKING ROCK everything.
i own them. best powder ski ever, * and i also ride seth pistols and the elizabeths are a lot better than the pistols* but yes i dont want to rail on them so its on you.
they are a pricey ski, and they are also fat. although many people Ive heard from love them in the park, personally i would go a bit more narrow when riding park (upper 80s to mid 90s)
i have fat skis and they work in park, but when i get into a ski thats a bit more narrow but still decent, riding in the park is much more at ease.
the spatulas were never really good, watch people ski on them, they just slid everywhere unless the snow was over 36 inches...sound pretty pointless to me
do it.....if your a good skier. The extra base will help on landings and jumps. ALso if you dont have really strong legs it will be very hard to handle the extra swingwieght
Hell no. Elizabeths are a total waste if you live in the East. Not only are they super wide but they're also soft and short which gives you less edge for carving all that ice you're gunna be skiing.
has anyone actually skied these skis who has posted in this?????????? i have them and they are the best ski ever... for everything. except my heelpiece has ripped out a few times. i skied them in the east and now out west. so shut your mouths. actually dont get them i dont want to see anyone else with them
I own the elizabeth and live on the east coast, it is the best ski i have EVER ridden. It is absolutely amazing for everything. and they butter so easily. Get the ski, u will love it.
