Electric EG1-freakin's difficult

damn, i wanted to change the lenses on my EG1's and it took me about 15 minutes. i had to wrestle the lens out and back in, and it felt like i was going to break the frame the whole time. anyone else have this?

Yeah, it took me a few minutes the first time. The frame isn't going to break; it's the lens you need to be careful with - I folded the plastic a bit at the very top of one of mine trying to get it in. Just read the instructions - get the nose in secure first then work round the bottom to the sides then pop the top in last. The notch for the lens to slide into is really thin so you just need to make sure it goes right in there.

you need to body slam it to the ground, chug a beer in its face, spit on it, then pin it, and the lense will slide out.

yea i had the same problem wiht my eg1's for the first few time but once u get used to it it's fine

buy some figments, easiest goggles ever you can change the strap in seconds and same with lenses, i got the checkerboard ones with pink strap and yellow lense

eg1s are a sinch to change leses, there are only 2 damn tabs! the hardest goggle ive ever seen are wisdoms. those were fuckin tough to change. but im pretty shure any shperical lense is gonna be toughter, cause they dont bend.

haha yeah i had some issues with that too, but after a couple times of changing them it gets easier

it took 23 minutes to me when i did it for the first time. now i change it in 1 minute. the nose part is the hardest.

my buddy has a pair of anon halcyons and i think those have the best idea ever. you just have to like unclick 4 tabs on the frame and the lense just drops out. slap the new lense on and click the tabs back into place and your set. it only takes a few seconds. i wish other companies would come up with something like this, its genius

yeah first time i tried it it was so frusturating. just give it a couple times and it gets a lot easier

yeah im not a huge fan of them either. i dunno if the figments have the same system or not but it really needs to be copied by other companies.
