So ive mounted bindings on my foils twice and have decided to lose the centermount and go back a few inches (i dont ski park as much this year and it kills me in heavy powder)... is it okay to remount them a 3rd time?
you can remount for a third time, but it will weaken the ski quite a bit. they'll be more prone to snappage but.. it's a risk you have to decide you're willing to take.
you could really remount the skis probably like 4 times. The biggest problem you run into is, the new holes will probably fall really close to where you want them now which is VERY important to watch for.
everytime you put a screw in your ski you weaken it so any amount of remounting makes them weaker than they need to be but you can basically do it as many times as you like as long as the old holes don't get in the way of the new ones.
its a third mount so yeah, you may weaken it a little. and moving just the toe/heelpiece SHOULD be fine, but it will affect where your sitting on the ski. so if you were mounted say 3 cm back from center, if they move just one piece you may be at +3.5 or 2.5, depending on if your going bigger or smaller
