Replying to Dogtown and Z-boys of newschool?

Has anyone been documenting any of this over the last 15 years when the sport has evolved. Has anyone even thought of capturing the roots of this sport on film and making a documentary? I think it would be amazing to have one, being that, as a skateboarder, its so cool to look at Dogtown and Z boys (i think i speak for the most of us) because you can really see where the sport stated and how much it has changed. Someboday should be doing this.
