WAX:
-tie brakes back with elastic
-with a scrubby brush off the dirt from bases, then whipe with towel
-scrape bases with scraper
-drip wax onto bases
-iron out the wax
-let it sit, then scrape till no more wax comes off
-unplug iron and go ride.
thats what i do and it works for me. i dont work in a shop or anything, but that does the job. im sure there is more minute details.

get a wax that you dont have to iron with thats super complicated.... find a good lite so you can see where you have waxed the just take of all the axcess with towel..... sharpening edges i have no clue about.... im not even sure about the wax but it works
