Now, dont get me wrong. I dont mind most boarders, but do you guys experience the annoying boarders that always sit down in the middle of the runs? And the worst, they always sit at the edge or right below: headwalls and out of park jumps. I dont know about you guys, but I like to jump especially headwalls, but the boarders are always sitting there. And you cant see some of them until after you hit the shit.
And crappy boarders aren't just inconsiderate to skiers, they are the same way to each other. Last week, some boarder hit a jump and attempted a 3. He only got about half way then landed on his butt. Well, he wasn't smart enough to move, he just sat there stunned that he didnt stomp his trick. Meanwhile, his supposed friend comes down and hits the jump trying the same thing. Again, he gets half way around until he wacks the first guys across the side of the head. (wasnt wearing a helmet) the kid didnt even say anything, and just rode off.
i have bad experiences wit boarders, they cut me off in front of jumps all the time, they suck, they sit on their buts all day making fun of people and they smoke and throw down ciggarette butts on the slopes
Not only boarders. I had this happen when I still raced and would clock groomers for practice.. popped off a roller in full race tuck and underneath were two beautiful but stupid girls, poles parked into the groomer, just standing there. I threw myself sideways in mid air, full tuck, which saved their lives.. I sliced through their poles, literally, and then flipped *over* their heads from tipping the poles on impact. I am surprised to this day that no one was seriously injured.. not even a broken rib.. I blacked out as I fell... no helmet.. for those Whistlerites, this was on Green Acres when they used to run a course down it. People are STUPID. Whistler has it as one of their main ski rules.. don't stop where you can't be seen.. most resorts don't.
