yeah, i was using a frames but, even with a helmet strap and they still suck, my head is big, but i also usually wear a skull cap or bandana under my helmet

the park is a protected out of the wind area of the mountain, the summit is always much colder, humm now arnt you gald you craped your pants and got pissed over that

so what does it having to do with beeing colder and the wisdom strap snapping? I guarantee i have skiid way gnarlier shit than you in crazy windchill and had no problems with my goggles .
