lean forward more so you dont kick out? keep your weight centered over your feet.

try to get on in the middle of where your boots are and keep looking at the end of the rail, if your worried about trying it and u havnt tried it yet, a flat down is really not all that much different from a flat at the kink just shift your wait forward a little
