get a gummy stone. rub underfoot until your edges underfoot are rounded and dulled. done.

yea if your scared of catching on rails cause of sharp edges, dont be. I get my skis tuned every year and i grind rails fine.

you can slightly detune under the boot and the tip and tail with a fine file. just hold at a 45degree angle and move in only one direction.

I found that sliding rails does the trick very nicely.

sharp edges suck on PVC and when you try to do broken slides.

somebody up there mentioned a gummy stone, which works fine, but its not radically goin to dull you redges. My suggestion, thats what most pros would tell ya, is to take a ski file and just grind the shit out of your edges.

when u get them tuned at the start of the season the shop usually detunes under the boots because the skis are twin-tips... unles the shop guys think u'll be racing with them. i just got mine back from being tuned and i can do rails perfectly(and boxes) without catching edges

well they did detune my edges but i want to make them as smooth and round as possible. it also prevents impact cracks whitch my t halls had about a million of those
so do you just take a file to the corner of the edges ?? any degree i should hold the file at??

that holds true for rails, but if you are trying ledges, or boxes where the topsheet rubs on your edges, you need a little extra support.

some rails are nicer then others the ones at my hills stick if you dont have grinded down edges for me at least these rails on the surface are really rough
my thalls glide so well
but when i was doing rails with my brand new ar5's i was catchin tough
