My buddy just moved out to Park City from Rochester, NY. I am visiting him for 5 days. Anyone know if Anthony B is playing in Park City on the 12th? We will mostly be skiing the Canyons, but might head up to Snowbird for a day. Later.

Well my buddy has a season pass to the Canyons, I ski at Killington a bunch and have an edge card with two free days on it so skiing the Canyons will save me some cash. But I definately want to head over to Snowbird for a day...Later.

I'm in the middle of a week in SLC, and I'm from around Albany, NY.
Defintaly hit up Snowbird, and defintaly hit up Brighton. Solitude was ok, but Brighton and the Bird's terrain was a bit better if you like to charge hard on rediculously steep stuff. And Brighton seems to get a little more snow in the trees. But hit Solitude on the weekends, it's DEAD on the weekends.
Haven't been to Alta yet, so idk there, but that is said to be sick. Just don't bring anybody that boards.

Just got back yesterday from Utah...I stayed at my friends Condo near Kimball Jct. the skiing was great. The first day we skiied the Canyons...I liked it because it is spread out so there aren't as many people on each trail, but you have to constantly skate to get to where you want to go. Best run was hiking up from 99 lift. The next day we skied Park City, Park City was ok, I enjoyed the mogul run under the double chair, believe it was Thaynes or something like that. The third day we skied Snowbird and they got three inches before we got there and 11 inches while we skied. I will have to say I enjoyed Snowbird the most probably because of the amount of snow and the super steep terrain. I usually ski on 1080 moguls but brought a pair of my friends Lines, little did I know that the bindings on the skis are shot so I kept releasing and the brake didn't work on one so I almost lost it two times. Luckily for me the ski stayed on top of the snow the first time when I was coming down the Cirque and a second time got caught in a pine tree. I switched over to my 1080's which weren't as bad in the pow as I would have thought, although I did have to keep my weight farther back than on the fatter Lines. The road to the Canyon ended up closing for a few hours while they did some avalanche control but was reopened by 4:30 when we left. Glad we didn't get stuck up there :)
