My new skis are delaminating!! NOOO. I'll hopefully be able to warranty them. Line's quality control has gone down the toilet lately. It's right under the binding, which is a weird place for them to break, right? I've done a few rails but no 80 ft disasters.
The edges have a little bit of rust on them 'cause they came home from whistler in the bottom of a wet trailer. I actually take reasonably good care of them.
i have last years crhonics and they are the dopest ski ever...i dont have any problems with them...no edge cracks, no delam, and i am fairly hard on them for rails...
what about the tons of line skis that people got this year that ARENT sucking? you guys only see the bad threads, no good ones like "OMG MY SKEEZ ARE NOT DELAMMING!!11111one@!!!!!!!!111"
lines getting such a bad rep. my invaders are doing amazing- no chips, no delam; after about 2 weeks.
If you did any rails, then i imagine it voids the warranty. especially because its underfoot. Skis delam underfoot from impact on rails... even if its minimal.
From the responses posted after you made this post, I'd say there is alot of people with Line skis that are really happy with them and have had no problems.
how about NO, because alot of kids spent 500 dollas or more for shit that is breaking left and right
I've heard that Line has an amazing warrantee policy, and the fact that Jason from Line personally came on here and offered to replace a members prototype Invaders, I'd say I heard right.
my chronics have looked pretty much just like that for about a year (last years chronics) and it never got any worse.. i didnt even consider it delam... from your pictures and having skis that look the same way, i dont think its delam.. (could be cause i havent seen yours in person, but from what i have seen it doesnt look like delam)
I have always found that my Line skis were very durable. I had about 110 days last year. About 60 of them were on my Mothership Titaniums, 25 on the Assassins and 25 on the Chronics.
The bases are durable. No core shots and with the winter Whistler had last year, that is saying something.
My Assassins are delaming, but that is because I dropped about four feet onto a rock and shoved the edge up into the base.
I even rode the Line bindings all last year without a problem. However, I bought a second pair this year and they broke after a week. Oh well.
