i just ordered the look p12 jibs and now i need some skis to put them on.... im 6"1 160 lbs ...skinny... im kinda rough on my skis i ski midwest groomed garbage snow. i am in the park 99% of the time and i want a fun park skis that wont fall apart and is resonably priced... i ski 1260's right now 153cm kinda short but i hear the shorter the better for spins easier to get around and all the good stuff correct me if im wrong .. any ideas on some skis i could mouth these p12's on?
I'm 6'0 and 130..so close to the same body build. I have p12 jibs on '05 troublemakers and love it. They are awesome! I also ski in southwest michigan, and they work great all over the mountain.
if youre lloking to save some money, you can beat fujis. cheap, and a legit ski for park and then some. a surprising ski for the money. if youre willing to spend a bit more, id say go with a scratch fs or an armada ar5. both legit park skis, durable, full sandwich construction which seems to hold up better both cosmetically and structurally. an ar5 will treat you a little better for pure park because of its weight and softer flex, but a scratch fs will be a better all around choice if you ever decide to venture outside of the park...which i highly reccommend.
its really personal preference.. im 6'1 162, and my park skis are 169 PE's.. My groomer skis are rossi scratchs 176..
i find if my skis are to long, i cant spin as well.
