in the movies on big jumps ive seen that the pros use blocks to build them. does anyone know how to brick up the snow like that or build larger jumps better.
to make blocks for bc booters u just need to wait for their to be good snow back (which there almost always is if its a bc booter) then insteaded of taking snow and just digging it out, and throwing it in one giant pile to carve out later... you just cut blocks of snow out of the snow pack, and stack em up!
you just roll around huge snowballs, then pack them together. Not much more to it than that, except shaping and whatnot. We made one that was like, 5 feet tall once, and then we decided we'd let it roll down the mountain instead, and a few people nearly died. it was good times.
I was wondering about that too cause you always see them stacking the blocks, but that can't always work. We got tons of snow today, and it was way too light to block up.
haha one time in elementary school we made a 5 foot snowball, and we were all pushung it and this kid was behind it and it rolled over him and broke one of his ribs!
ha!
