I'm a junior and already havin' trouble, the name of the game is find somewhere close to Erie, PA (my parents demand within 4 hours) that has decent ski facilities near-by.
why let your parents limit you like that. you should go to college where ever you want. i'd say the further from home the better just because of the change.
do what u want but, u should prolly not take a year off cuz then u wont feel like going to college after, and u may never end up going, just think of how u feel after school vacations thats how youll feel after a year off, just my thoughts tho dont take it the wrong way like im telling u what to do
im a senior, im going to community college to get my electricians ticket, then moving to pemberton (near whistler) to work on the olympics, ski all day, and have sex with hot chicks.
A couple of my buddies go there and for a community college it is pretty damn expensive, but if you want to be in the industry, its a good place because they have classes in like tuning, boot fitting and other stuff like that...oh by the way the parties are pretty cool too
Welp I havent decided yet, but its probably gonna be either middlebury, williams, or dartmouth. My friend might be going to bowdoin.. I'll let you know if he goes
i havnt really donr any admissions things yet, but im hoping maybe champlain for first year or 2 then transferring to a school with some good film. if i dont get into champlain, ill try nh or me or ny
I got accepted to U of U already and i just sent in my application to Michigan State. My friends go to state and i party with them all the time so I know that parties are like 100% up there, but i also know that skiing is like 100% in Utah. So i have to choose between all partying and no skiing or all skiing and no partying. This is probably the hardest decision ive ever had to make. If i go to Michigan state that means another 4 years at fucking mt brigthon, and i dont know if i can handle that.
dude if i was you i would go to u of u. how much is it gonna cost to go from michigan? i really want to do that but i figured its prolly too much so havent looked into it. i got into central/easter/gvsu and im prtty sure im going to gvsu
^believe me there will be some partying at any college you go to, well except for maybe deep springs. But If i were you i would choose utah. You will find somewhere to party in utah, but you wont find good skiing in michigan
I dont get why people base their college decisions on the party scene. Sure you go to college to have fun and shit, but isn't the point of school to get an education and a good job? I might be a bit anal about the schooling, as I'm trying to get into med school and all, but still. I don't get it.
