are urban rails that bad as the look or look when the pros crash on them. its snowing in reno and im going to go do some different ones we have see in some vidoes. is it really going to be that bad?im thinking about.what do you say

Just don't pick an impossible rail. Maybe start off with a mellow straight rail, maybe a down rail. Something with low consequences, like grass on one side, not steep, that sort of stuff. Once you get comfortable, go for double kinks and stuff.

I don't really get it. I've done like 8 or so different urban rails, and none of them were that hard. like, 40 foot long double kinks took less than 5 trys. i'm sure some pros do like 50 or so a season... so crashing hard on 5 or so isn't bad. its just that we see those 5 crashes in movies because they're so gnar.

Oh yeah. i forgot about myself crashing. Yeah, the rails are easy to do... but you'll definately fall, and it hurts when you do. like when you grease a rail, except that last few feet, and come off there theres no snow, onto a curb, and double eject. Good Shit.

yeah, you surprise yourself with how many urban bails you can take. in my experience the ones that look the gnarliest are often the least painful.
