ill break it down for yah
both skis weigh about the same. not particuallry light, but not heavy.
the DCs will ski the pants off the thalls all over the place.
the thall is a better jib ski
the DCs are way more solid on bigger jumps
the DCs are also a far better pipe ski
the core in the DCs is a horizontal laminate. incredibly cool feeling, and incredibly snapy, but they loose that feel fast if you you ride real hard.
the thalls are gonna be more durable.
bottom line:
DCs is a much better all around ski, while the THs are very park specific. the DCs also feel AWESOME in the air, i dont have much expierience jumping on THs, but my guess is its a bit sketchier. the THs WILL last longer though.
hope that helped

oh yeah, i had tms, and i NEVER even got cracks in the edge, and all i did with um was rails. its all about keepin them detuned and smooth, so they dont catch. but i definatly liked those skis, and DCs are the same thing, just a bit stiffer.
