put the pole in a vice, get a wrench. hold the wrench right where the grip meets pole and hit it with a hammer. grips will pop right off

It's stuck on with a special glue. If you use a hair dryer to heat it up it will slide right off.

you need to make something solid in the shape of a U where it slides through the pole but not the grip. stick the pole into this U and then pull it hard and the grip should just pop right off. there is no glue holding the grip on, or just bring it to your ski shop and they will have this grip remover U thing im talking about. i wish i had a picture right now.

Somebody already asked this same question about 3 months ago. Don't listen to these other cats. YOu don't need a vise ar any special equipment. Soak the grips in really hot water for at least a half hour. THen gently twist and pull and the grips will slide right off.

If you want to take the poles off super quick without soaking them in hot water. You can grab a flat screw driver, CAREFULLY slid it down the grip and spray a little WD-40 down there and it will slid right off. And a little trick to get the grip back on the pole is to put a little rubbing alcohol in the grip slid it on, then knock it down. The rubbing alcohol evaporates so it won't get stuck in the grip and it makes er' super easy to slid on. Try that, it seems to work well for me.

if its aluminum then blow dry just below the grip on the pole for a while and then it should just slide right off...(use a vice too) if anything else.. blow dry the grip but be sure u don't melt it and then it should come off using a vice as well

heat it up then put it in between a door and the wall so the door is clamping it and pull a couple times. the most important part is to heat up the grip. either that or lube it down with a buch of ky and it should come off easy

man i actually work in a ski shop as a tech... just put it in really hot water and it should just slip off, if it has glue you can just use a blowtorch or something to melt it most poles dont have glue though so it should just slide off

warm the pole up so the glue is ready to come out, carefully insert it in something just tight enough to catch the bottom lip of the handle, then just start jerk'n away. You'll pop your grip off in no time.
PS. this can be done alone but it's much more fun if you solicit the help of a spry young lass to do some of the jerking for you
