Detuning new skis

so if i take a file and file down the edge under the boot ya think this is a little easier than skiin for a while till they break in?

I did that so I could grind pvc and not die. You really don't notice it that much skiing, or grinding for that matter.

I detuned the shit out a pair of ski today using a shop tuning machine .

I had to detune my other skis a lot too since my first hits with them were urban.
a fine detuning isd the way to go for non pipe skis

why bother risking fucking yourself up not detuning them. if your grinding a lot of rails either file them down or bring them to a shop and have them take 3-4 degrees out under foot
