Would a trv-900 be good?

I'm looking for another camera. I have a JVC GR-DV800 which is alright but not the best quality. I don't have alot of money. Around $800 to spend. I've also looked at the VX1000.

I have heard good things about TRV-900's but if I were you, I would save up like 100 more dollars, and really try and get your hands on a VX1000...you will definately be more than satisfied.

my friend has that camera and it seems to be pretty good. i personaly am looking to buy a canon optura 20. i read alot of great things about its amazing picture quality for a 1 chip camera. its price range is very good because it is a slightly outdated camera. the only downfall with it is its said to have poor audio output. but just get an external mic and youll be good

and yea if your debating between the two...no questions...be patient and save a little more for a vx
