yeah i'd love to know as i'm supposed to be heading there on the 8th as well.
fuckin cheap bastard laborers- aren;t you happy enough you;re working at one the best resorts in the east? you probably get a pass and enough time to make it all worth your while. if you want to make money go be a fuckin investment banker don;t get a ski resort job douche bag. tremblant should fire everyone and import a bunch of mexicans- those fuckers would be so happy to make what the current employees make...

The real problem isn't with the hill workers, They had a good relationship going The problem is with all the other Hotel & Restaurant< Catering side of it. And the big problem is the CSN Quebec National Labour Union they are part of the wants them to keep striking. The CSN is the biggest usless bunch of idiots of the face of this earth

okay here is a short tremblant update as of yesterday:
The lifts that were open were:
The Gondola
Lowell Thomas
TGV
and Expo
The Park Status:
Pretty solid, although they arent grooming it like they usually do, there is a 10 foot flat box
trapezoid box
gap to down box
picnic table jib
35 foot lipslide rail
curved C box
25 footLedge
rainbox type box
short 10 foot flat rail
massive flat down flat box
Overall:
The bars and shit are still open and the park is in okay shape although there are no jumps set up right now. There are a lot less ppl on the mountain because of the strike and as a result the lift lines arent THAT bad.
hit it up.

I have some friends who are locals there...was talking to one of them about it and he says that his friend's dad is in charge of the negotiation (not sure whether hes the mediator or in charge of it on Tremblant's side). Anyways, according to him they should come up with a deal by the end of this week. Im keeping my fingers crossed, but hey, Im going to St-Anne all week next week and either way I still prefer Jay between the 2.

What's the deal with passports and canada. Is it true you now need a passport to go from the US to Canada and vice versa? I hope this isn't the case, because that might be one of the dumbest moves ever.

Passport things is only starting in 2007
and they may cancel that idea cause that is totally rediculous
