Rossi Soft 3 vs Rossi Scratch Soft boots?!?

So I am in the market for new boots. I'm somewhat interested in the soft boots Rossi has to offer.
I ski in Western New York where there is no such thing as all mountain skiing. So all mountain performance isn't important to me that much.
Now I have a buddy who works at a ski shop and I can get a killer discount on the Rossi Soft 3 boot. I tried it on, and liked how it felt on my foot, but it is hard to say without skiing them... Since they did seem a little softer than I am used to.
I wasn't able to try on the Scratch soft boot though, but I could get them for about $50 more than the soft 3 boot.
How does the stiffness of the Scratch boot compare to that of the Soft 3 boot?

there are better boots out there, but if you can get a good deal on your boots get the scratch soft boots. they are obviously a little more freestyle orientated, and they are super comfy. i am guessing the fit is similar if not exactly the same as the soft 3.

See, the only thing though is I am leanign towards a soft boot simply because all we have worth skiing around here is park. There are no steeps, no powder. Carving runs are even easy as hell.
All times are Eastern (-5)
