Alright, I'm looking into getting new skis for next year. I am riding last year's TM's (or whatever year, not sure...the green holographic ones) and they are awesome, I love them. I was trying to figure out whether or not to get the new TM's or the Chrichton Pro's...any suggestions?
its the same ski, but like last years, the pro has extraglass in it. a bit heavier, a bit stiffer. i like the chriton graphics more, but if you like your current skis, get TMs. if you want something a bit stiffer, go chrichtons. other than that, they are identical.
I have the crichton pros and I don't think they are any heavier than the regular tms. I would like to give you more info on the ski, but I only rode them one time.
I haven't ridden them. A stiffer ski should have better edge grip when carving. As far as edge design I believe they are the same. If you want to save some money, pick up the phil larose pros. You can get them for $300, are a stiffer pro model. Basically the Crichton's are the Larose's but with a new top sheet and base graphic.
Ya, I'm pretty shure the Phil promodels and the crichton promodel are the same. If you want to be able to do nice carves don't center mount them. I watched the guy at my shop measure it out and center was like +2 from suggested mounting point and when I go them back they almost looked forward mounted and it was very hard to carve with.
