Ok to begin with this is not a beginner ski, too stiff if your new get something more flexy. Amazing all around ski, can stomp landings easy due to the width of the waist, very good in the little powder i was in, although its terrible on the ice ( but what do you expect from a midfat ski ). One Ski Quiver. Tested the 177.
