how are scratch bc's for east coast skiing? i spend some time out west so i want a legit powder ski, and from what i've heard, these seem to be one of th better quiver skis available. im looking to get a 185. any info on how they perform on eastern-type conditions would really be appreciated.
I ride the scratch bc, I live in colorado and they rip. I find them to be very good all around. They are soft so if you are use to having a stiff race/ice feel this will be a change. I love them in the pipe and in the deep shit. It is a great ski. Go for it. but I will say I have never skied in the east but on our ice they still hold an edge.
i tried ordering a pair a few days ago in 185 and they're sold out. all they had were 178's. i was pissed. but i rode some at a demo this fall and they were sick as hell.
yea, i got em on the way, but any more feedback so i know what to expect would be appreciated. theyre coming in just in time for utah, and by the sound of it, theyve been getting dumped on. so im psyched fersherrrrrrrrrr
