1st - those big jumps have been "in progress" for the last 8 days. nothing has happened over on the pro side, and thats what blue claims they have.
2nd - yes there are lots of little cool rails. However they were good when they were first installed 10 days ago, but now they are full of icy bombholes. there's only like 3 park staff who do anything, the rest of them just sit there and pick their asses at the bottom.
sure there is some fun stuff, but it's total horseshit that blue charges so much and claims that their park is so good when really it's pretty terrible right now
think of how good it was a few years ago

everyone submit complaints to:
mail@bluemountain.ca
send them tonnes of email about how shitty the park is and maybe they'll fire someone and make it better

I expressed the EXACT same dissapointment in blue once and was quickly harrassed by blue staff for having an opinion (IE.. people who work there approaching me in the park and verbally harassing and threatening me)... just a heads up for you.
luckily my pass at blue was a freebie this year. I'm going to try and hit up moonstone as much as possible, it looks sick. They have thier act together and only ever get better. Im 100% getting a pass at moonstone next year.

thats why i aint tellin nobody who i am those fuckers wont ever get to me and talk their stupid shit. which park fag gave you shit? he should be fired for doing stuff like that its totally unfair. why can't we complain as customers and have someone in the park who is smart enough to LISTEN to his customers instead of THREATENING them.
i hope someone from blue reads this.

ahaha!!! you actually think they care what you think? look at the people on the other hills besides badlands....the park is a very tiny part of the money making machine that is intrawest and they're going to continue making money regardless of what you guys send them.

wow... you really dont know what you are talking about...
1st BLUE AND INTRAWEST ARE SEPERATE
therefore INTRAWEST has ZERO control over the park. so yes blue may listen.
2nd. there is more money spent by each individual per square foot in the park than anywhere else on the hill (talking lunch and stuff... where the real money is)
so try and email them with ideas of how to improve things, tell them ways to improve or what you find a problem.
and dont listen to people that really do not know what they are talking about

am i missing something here...
so far
2 really big tables (with perfect landings and mint takeoffs)
2 smaller jumps (good for learning switch and spins)
Single barrel rail approx 8ft in length
A-frame rail approx 8 ft in length
2 tiny rails for learning 270's on and learning in general (under 6 ft) one has a small flat down.
C rail- nice setup perfect for learning curved rails
Another 8ft flatbar rail.
8-10 ft box (nice for spins on and off)
nice flat down box
pink panther (super long super fun box)
S rail- really long, hard, fun.

You think that one single park rider pays more then a family of 5 that is up at the hill for a 4 day weekend? whether the money is going into lift tickets, lessons, food or accomidations it all ends up in the same pocket at the end of the day. Every other person spends more money then the average park rat. Interwest controls the insrurance as far I know and I thought the insurance controlled the park? Interwest owns everything but the Main Inn and the actual physical hill but I know Interwest is a key player in a lot of what goes on ON the hill.
The key word is MAY listen but they dont always. Make sure you email the right person tho and that it is a proper email with suggestions not just an email telling them that they suck.
I have to also agree with Jodi, the park is the nicest its been this early in the season for a very long time!! I know those boys are workign hard and they have had NUMEROUS all night builds so that you guys ahve a nice park to ride everday. The pipe gets cut almost everynight unlike in the past and when a comment gets made things get built or fixed.
There is a difference btween saying the park sucks and that is it and offering constructive criticism and making suggestions about what can be done to improve the park. Make sure you know the difference before you send that email.

Just a quick note:
Intrawest has a huge thing where they market specifically to youth. Ie. caring MORE what the "little park rat" says than his parents. Because if you get the park rat there, the parents come too and bring the whole family.
This is why so many intrawest resorts have huge parks.

Bitch Bitch Bitch, All the whiners are losing sight of the reason we strap Gear onto our feets in the first place... To Ride! Let's be pro-active, If you love a park ride it, If you hate one, fix it. Talk more to the staff. Don't slag them and then expect them to want to help you. I know things aren't just what they used to be.. but Man, it could be worse. Insurance could just shut the whole shit down. Aren't we glad that hasn't happened.... Hey, if it's a bad day in the park, go free ride.. If you don't know how to link two turns.. I dunno... Learn..

"Sex is like pizza when its good its amazing and when its not good its still not that bad" put that quote into skiing terms... Anyday on snow is a better one then one spent in the office.
At the rate this season is going we should be happy that there is any snow on the ground and that our hills are still open. All ontario hills are getting hit with less then desirable weather and if u look at the long range forcasts for global warming in the next 20 years no one will have snow! So do us all a favour adn shut up and go and enjoy your time on snow.

when i think of mslm's park i think back to when i was teaching there and u had to wait an hour in line to hit a jump or the pipe and hope that u didnt get snaked as you drop in... I mean i was dropping into the hip a few years ago and i got cut off on the TAKE OFF by some kid... thats the one thing i like about blue is the park pass it helps cut down on the number of lil kid snakers...
