AFC Playoff Picture
Patriots - Not the team they were. They are however on a hot streak lately and T. Brady's looking more and more like himself. Defense is the problem. They have too many injuries. Now that Teddy's out, they might be done.
Bengals - Should make it to AFC championship game. But lack of playoff experience and big games might hold them back.
Colts - Going to the Super Bowl as long as they can beat the Pats if they meet (head game w/ Peyton). Most high powered offense in the AFC and one the best defenses in the league.
Broncos - It's possible they could make it to AFC Championship game. But Plummer's famous inconsistency in big games might show through here. Plus, they've been turning the ball over a TON lately.
Jaguars - Too much QB controversy here. Leftwich says he's ready, but is he? Who would you start?
Steelers - The most under-rated team. With the best running game in the NFL, this team's always a risk. The ground game takes alot of pressure off of Rolthsberger to make big plays when they need them. Wathch closely.
NFC Playoff picture
Bears - Absolutely the best defense in the league. This D can hang on to 7 point lead an entire game to win. But there's the problem, can the offense put up 7? Might make conference game.
Seahawks -The best team in the NFC. They should make the superbowl if they stay consistent. Shawn Alexander is a BEAST and should get MVP. Lock in for conference game.
Buccaneers - Great defense. Too young of an offense. With Cadallac Williams and Chris Symms as your go-to guys, this team's WAY inexperienced moving into the playoffs. Look for them down the road though. One bright spot is Mike Alstott, who is unstoppable on short yardage plays.
Giants - Let's see if they can even win the division. What was once one of the best offenses in the NFC, this team has fizzled out. They need a win going into the playoffs to get them pumped, and secure at least one home game (which might be against a division rival Washington or Dallas) Eli's definitely showing his inexperience the last few games, and Shockey has been horrible. Tikki's the only bright spot, but was stopped dead against the Redskins. Defense isn't worth mentioning.
Redskins - Probably the hottest team in the NFC right now. They are on a 4 game winning streak and should win against Philly to make the playoffs. The offense is playing like a well-oiled machine and the defense has always been one of the top 10 in the league. Watch out for these guys if they make playoffs, could be some MAJOR upsets.
Panthers - Still struggling to clinch a playoff berth, this team is still dangerous. Delhomme is one of the most under-rated QB's in the league and Steve Smith is just about unstoppable one-on-one. If they make it in, they could make the conference game.
Dallas - A joke. If they make it in, it'll be a shame a better team didn't.
ill bet you the seahawks win...on the line, we have to declare our gayness in the non-ski gabber forum wiht a thread titled "I want to let you know I'm gay" this would highlight all the things about being gay the loser enjoys (cock, hairy guys, etc.) you down honky?
It's definitely possible. That's why I said "safe bet." But if both those teams make it, and that's IF they make it, I might bet on the Seahawks as well.
^They definitely don't suck. Yes, they had an off game, but they are a dangerous team. Remember how close they came to beating the Colts? Some are even considering Carson Palmer for MVP. Not to mention Chad Johnson is a beast of a receiver. Definitely have a chance of making the Super Bowl.
first off, no disrespect to the colts or tony dungy in lieu of what just happened to his son, peyton manning can s on my d, we all know that the pats will beat jacksonville in the first round of the playoffs and then go into indy and kick the shit out of them, securing peyton manning as the dan marino of our generation. With Kevin Faulk and dillon back in the lineup, plus the fact that tom brady is having a career year, the patriots offense looks more and more like the champs we know. As for the NFC i could really care less, the only game im interested in is the "Bush Bowl" Texans vs. Niners this sunday. Winner not loser should get reggie.
^Don't forget the other 3 teams in the "Reggie Bush Sweepstakes."
And yes, there is the mind-over-matter factor with Peyton facing the Pats in the playoffs. Although they did beat them strong in the regular season.
Like I said, the problem with the Pats is defense. They're so banged up right now, it's going to be a miracle to see them stop such a high-powered offense like the Colts.
i agree that the pats are banged up, but they are starting to gel. Seymour is back and since his return they have only given up like 80 rush yds per game. The secondary needs some work, but ellis hobbs has come up big as a rookie. they are also on a roll going into the playoffs (6 out of their last 7). they shouldnt be taken too lightly
^You can never take the Pats lightly. That's when Tom Brady plays his best. But this will definitely be the hardest playoff road they've traveled since winning their first Super Bowl.
They really don't match up well against teams like Pittsburgh, and the Bengals. And the only way they'll get past the Colts, is to get into Peyton's head early, and let Brady work his magic.
you're a dumbass who doesn't know shit about what he's talkign about, they've had injuries all year, but now when they're getting some people back they're getting good again. 5 of their last 6, 2 easy teams left to play. what team do u like fool, the eagles?
