I just ordered the Santo Jacket for 209 from evogear.com. The Santo jacket IMO is the sickest jacket I have ever seen. And I think it is way better than Helly's current Jackets..the Pangea (475) and the Convergent (275) which is not a 3-layer XP jacket...

That piece of shit leaks more than the titanic did after it hit the infamous iceberg.

Helly hansen 1, for screwing you out of $209, you? 0

seriously, why do you dislike helly stuff so much. You dissed it on another thread. have you had a bad experience ?

Repeated bad experiences with their highest end jackets leaking, delaminating, and then HH being dicks on warranty service/replacement.
If you want a 3 ply waterproof breathable jacket that will actually work, go by something made by Sessions, Volcom, Orage (Maverick jacket), or Burton. Don't buy Helly Hansen's shit.

you must have had an anomalous experience, all the Helly gear I have seen has been really nice. Better than most jackets for sure.

I'm curious about this. HH has lifetime warranty. I've heard from many that they'll warranty anything no questions asked. Apparently this is not true.

I've never actually warrantied anything, BUT...
The zipper on the boot cuff broke on one of my pants and I took them to the HH store in Boston. They offered to send them in for me free of charge and said that HH what most likely replace them even though there were a couple years old. I didn't do it because I needed them to ski, but I'm going to do it now. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.
